Mists, Drizzles and Showers, Part Three

Editorial Note: Today's card was original created 14 months ago before the explosion of 3D flowers and all the dies, punches and techniques on how to create them. If I were to do this card over I would definitely use a more dimensional card for photography purposes. However, since this card was mailed to a friend, the more flat flowers used were actually better for mailing purposes. Isn't it amazing how trends change the way we like/dislike something?

Welcome back. Today I am sharing you a card I made just over a year ago when I was first introduced to Dreamweaver's Color Solutions alcohol ink. Man, I love that stuff.

Dreamweaver LG 737 Umbrella stencil, Silver Embossing Paste
and Color Solutions Alcohol ink; Sentiment is Penny Black; Cardstock is My Mind's Eye.

Again, I've used Dreamweaver LG 737 Umbrella stencil but this time I first paste embossed it with Silver Embossing Paste onto patterned paper from My Mind's Eye. Once it was dry, I realigned the stencil and then using my Cut-n-Dry nib I applied the Dreamweaver Color Solutions Alcohol Ink.
Please take some time from your busy days and check out the other team players this week. And, PLEASE, if you can, leave us a comment. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE hearing your comments on our creations.

Remember, you have until April 30 to submit your own creation to the monthly challenge. All the details can be found here.

Until next week and my final Mist, Drizzles and Showers creation, treat yourself to something special. You know you deserve it!
Hugs,
Cherylynn

So pretty! I love the cherry raindrops, and your red umbrella is striking.

Wouldn't it be grand if real rain drops came in so many colors!! Beautiful card!! The umbrella has a nice texture from the ink on the paste that I really like!

Obviously I missed this card last week. Love the reference to rainbows and showing it in your color choices. Great work Cherylynn!
