Summertime, Sparklers and S'more go to the Wedding

Did you know that although the phrase is "June Brides" that July is actually a more popular month for weddings than June! In my family that really runs true, me, my sister and brother were all married in July. And this weekend my niece is following suit! So while you're all reading this post, I'm off enjoying all the festivities with my family. It should be a wonderful weekend!

And so when creating this week's Summertime, Sparklers and S'more project, I couldn't help but play up the Wedding theme! And since blue (especially navy and royal) seem to be the wedding colors of the year, I just went for it.

I used the double glitter technique with the LJ924 Bride stencil to create the background and then using silver embossing posted, embossed the BRAND NEW LL3034 Your Wedding stencil.

Very clean and simple but still very pretty!

Now head on over to the Dreamers who are playing along with this week's challenge for more inspiration:

And be sure to stop by Monday for all the details on what looks to be a fabulous week of blog hopping featuring Dreamweaver stencils and Stampendous stamps and products!

Let's go to the beach!

Hello and welcome!

When I first heard the Dreamweaver July challenge was "Summertime, Sparklers, and S'more," I instantly thought of the beach and the new Dreamweaver Sandcastle stencil LL3033! And what better way to create a sandcastle than to use Tim Holtz's Distress Embossing Powders using the Double-glitter technique.

For on all the details on how to create this fun, summery card, please head over to the PaperCraft Planet Dreamweaver Thursday tutorial where I have done a complete tutorial. For now, sit back, relax and enjoy this card:

After you've soaked up all the sun you can, head on over to the other Dream Team blogs for some more Summertime, Sparklers and S'more:
