Cue the Fireworks!

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and so must this incredibly creative collaboration between the design teams for Stampendous and Dreamweaver.

What a fun and inspiring week this Blog Hop has been. I, for one, was in awe each day as I hopped from blog to blog.

This card was a lot of fun to make because, again, it used a lot of techniques, which I LOVE!

Dreamweaver Stencils: LX7001 Large Damask, Amber Glow Metallic F/X'
Embossing Paste: Black Matte and Crackle;
Stampendous: Phone Lady and Phone Gent stamps
Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel and Chiffon Color Fragments

1. First paste emboss the LX7001 Large Damask with black matte paste and set aside to dry. (20 minutes on warm heat on my pancake griddle!)

2. Overpaste with Crackle paste  and set aside to dry. (Crackle takes a little longer so plan on 30 minutes!)

3. Reposition stencil over cured paste and dab with Stewart Stamp n Stick Glue pad. Remove stencil and heat until tacky (about 10-15 seconds). Brush with Amber Glow Metallix F/X. Trim to 2" squares.

4. Stamp and emboss both images with black embossing paste onto copper card squares.

5. Machine emboss Black Magic cardstock with Damask stencil, sand to reveal ivory interior.

6. Using a Versamark marker, edge with embossing ink and sprinkle with Embossing Enamel. While heating from the backside, sprinkle some fragments into embossing powder to secure.

7. Layer as shown. Pretty easy. Lots of fun.

Leave me some love so you can be entered to win some great product and then head on over to the rest of the Design Team blogs. Everyone's participating, so grab a coffee and be ready to be WOW-ed! I know I will be.

I've had a lot of fun this week and hope you've had fun and found some inspiration as well!

Have a great weekend, see you next weekend!

Thanks so much!

Thank you ALL for sharing this month of Spring Clean (and Simple) with me! I've had a lot of fun and I hope I inspired at least one of you to take 10 minutes to play and create.

For my last post of March, I thought I'd share a card we will be making tomorrow at our Spring Fling. It uses the Dreamweaver LL516 Bearded Iris pasted with black paste and crackle paste. The coloring uses Dreamweaver's gorgeous Color Solutions alcohol ink.

Dreamweaver LL516 Bearded Iris; Black Matte paste, Crackle Paste, Color Solutions Alcohol Ink: Thistle, Sugar Plum, Citron, Pine Bough and Gold Star; Stampin Up Sincere Salutations stamp set; Ink is VersaMagic Purple Hydrangea and die-cuts are Spellbinders.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and come on back next month to see what April showers will bring to my creations!

Hugs,
Cherylynn
