For my challenge post this week, I thought I'd stick with the Black and White theme.
I began my paste embossing the LL563 Pear stencil with Glossy White Paste and set it aside to dry.
I then repositioned the stencil over the dry image and positioned the NEW LX7013 stencil over that and paste embossed using Glossy Black paste. Note that I masked off the leaf with removal tape because I wanted to use that for my "pop" of color.
Once the pear was dry, I once again repositioned the stencil and using Dreamweaver Color Solutions Alcohol Ink in Citron and a Ranger Cut-n-Dry nib, I painted the leaf.
Then it was just a matter of cutting out the pasted image and layering it onto alternating layers of white and black.
I hope you enjoy it and that it inspires you to get working on your own creation. Remember, they don't need to be elaborate to be striking!
Hugs and until next week, happy creating! Hopefully soon I'll be back to more than just 1 post per week but it definitely is not this week!

Wowee...this is wonderful Cherylynn...how did you find time to do this during your busy schedule of moving and remodeling? YEP...very nice!
I like it! You did a great job.
Your comment, it doesn't "need to be elaborate to be striking" is right on! This is a pear-fect (sorry, I couldn't help it) example . . . stunning in its simplicity.
LOVE this Cherylynn, what a striking combination! Beautiful!
This is very cool! Love the Pinwheel Checkerboard on the pear...so unigue! And just the pop of bright green. Wonderful!
Beautiful and striking project! Great work. I love the pear with this background stencil.
How totally cool is this? love it!
Perfect image for this challenge. The pattern on the pear looks like a zentangle piece. Great card!
I love this design. How cool that you did it all with glossy paste and alcohol ink?
