Sunshine and laughter

Welcome to the my final post for Dreamweaver's Bloomin' Spring Challenge! Today also marks the day when we say adieu to some of Dream Team members who are moving on to new opportunities. So to Kristi, Wendy who are off to new adventures and to Lee, Georgia and Liz who are moving on to a new Dreamweaver adventure, this card is my wish for you: "may sunshine & laughter brighten your days". It has been an honor to have worked with you this past year! I can't wait to see what creations your new adventures bring us!

Today's card features the LJ788 Hydrangea stencil. After machine-embossing the stencil, I dabbed Versamark ink over the stenciled image (with stencil still in place) and then brushed on my Pebbles Pearlescent chalks.

This is a great technique for stampers just wanting to get started with stenciling because most stampers are already familiar with this same technique from stamping.

You can also do this technique with Dreamweaver's incredible Metallic F/X metallic powders. I would use Stewart's Glue Pad instead of the Versamark. I think this would gorgeous with the new Wedgewood Blue and Purple Satin!

Please take some time to visit all the Dream Team blogs this week. For additional inspiration, check out this week's Dreamweaver Tutorial over on PaperCraft Planet and remember to LIKE us on Facebook!

If you haven't had time to get your own Bloomin' Spring Challenge done, you still have time. Entries must be posted or emailed to Lynell by Sunday, March 31! You can find all the details here.

May sunshine and laughter fill your days!
